• Paver surface spalling or salt staining. The pavers themselves aren’t Unilock’s roofing product, but they’re part of the assembly. Salt intrusion through failed tray joints causes this on beach-proximate installs. We see it regularly on properties east of A1A where the salt load is highest.

DIY or Call Us?

Where DIY goes wrong: pedestal systems redistribute load across the roof membrane. Removing multiple pavers in a cluster changes the load pattern and can stress seams you can’t see. Membrane work beneath the assembly requires hot-air welding or proper cold-applied seaming - mistakes here leak slowly and show up as interior damage months later.
